When you gotta do away with one, you gotta do away with the other. So when someone gotta silence the political ranters and conspiracy theorists, doing one group would be too obvious, and would ensue a lot of spite from the only victims, or in this situation, "the punished". So one has to sit on the moral high horse and take down the morally incorrect, and persecute them cybernetically. The invitation to transfer is too shake the scene, to diminish the ideological and propaganda efficacy of the critical ones.
As a result, even those with honest-to-goodness agendas and ideas get inconvenienced, and lose rather potential friends, witnesses, and communicants. A clever ploy really, and only those with the second sight, and nothing to lose, can make this objective assessment. Hooray! Bravo! Well done. But, as the Inquisition has experienced a century before, you just can't a put a good Protestant down.
Too bad, a good seedbed of intellectual discussion, thought provocation, and even sexual stimulation, and helping common people stop being fooled by the hidden power establishment was just growing to be interesting indeed, so very user friendly before, now, is fast becoming a ghost town for the very sedate and so very complacent.
